Let me tell you my story: back in 8/2015 they hired me out of desperation to manage a sports team for the camp and I didnot have any experience at all and I thought that they would paid for my flight from Australia to Singapore but honestly I ended up paying for that flight and when I arrived at Lotus Desaru I was really treated really terrible by the korean staff Daniel SHIM and Sophie wintan they made me feel so uncomfortable and telling me what to do and did not even gave me some support: I was totally lost.. Some other teachers that I met there felt mistreated and lied too while the staff didnot give the others teachers including myself an complete schedule on what we are doing.. So I really got upset plus one thing, I really do not drink and I was forced by Daniel Shim and Sophie wintan to drink and they just make this camp really not presentable and really disrespectful to others

To everyone out there: be careful what you are getting yourselves into: They say in their add 4 weeks and you will end up staying for 2 weeks thats really sad and it happens to other teachers with out any notice and they spend their time and money to go to a place like this and it ended up with absolutely no structure and no curriculum testing skills are with a piece a paper and a pen and a video camera with no structure at all and placing people in Low, Intermediate and Advanced level which its not good with out any complete data.. Most of the students at this camp to not learn much at all:

So here is the recent craigslist add that GRA Korea added on 11/2; If u apply for this position using a craigslist email you would not be able to get through at all and your email will be rejected as coming back from Mail Demon.. Be careful because what happend to me was not good and it cost me alot of money to fly back home and this company didnot take care of my flight going home to Milan Italy.. It cost me more tan $2000 usd to fly home out of my pocket financially

We facilitate winter and summer camps for middle and high school students from Korea. This winter, we will host camps in Malaysia and Singapore from 3 -- 30 January 2016. The focus is on learning English as a Second Language while experiencing new cultures and having fun!

We are looking for motivated, energetic volunteers to teach and mentor our students.

BENEFITS

- A living allowance of S$ 200 per week for 4 weeks

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience teaching ESL and / or working with children and teenagers is beneficial
- Applicants should have some experience teaching activities such as sports / drama / arts & crafts
- Applicants must be available to work 3 -- 30 January 2016 and eligible to travel to Singapore and Malaysia
- A health check and police background check must be submitted before arrival at camp
- Applicants should be motivated, responsible, team-oriented and energetic.
