October 2015 I was hired by Sendelta consulting to teach AP subjects to two schools in Shenzhen. The schools where only 90 mins away by train and the 7-10pm student study period was really tough to handle. I didnt get home back to the futian school till 11:30 pm with a 7:55 am start the next day. The real problem not issue is they are all administrators not educators. Jack the academic manager is a tool that really offers no help and the schools suffers tremendously for it. The turnover rate is around 80% of marketing staff and teachers alike each year. I left because I was drugged in my own school dormitory room. Someone came in and poured an ounce or two of liquid dopimine in a water bottle I drank it with my asprin and voila the next day I am in the hospital giving blood doing ecg tests doctors stabilizing me and so on. In China they dont have toxicologists like in the west they do in Hong kong thou. But they wont let you bring the sample i had left in the bottle of water over the border and the chinese hospitals dont do toxicollogy tests. My advice to you guys choosing sendleta is remember they are not educators only placement agency for students going abroad. Very poorly managed and assistance next to nothing. I left after one month I love china but think sendelta is pretty shit. they do offer a handsome salary but with there finger print in and out system for recording office hours you will almost never get that thousand rmb bonus per month. If your late for class basically you lost 1.5 days wages. More accountants looking to cheat teachers more than credible consultants looking to place students abroad. FYI dont ever never live in the school rooms on campus in the futian experimental building. You want to live right? the guys teaching for sendelta in zhu hai are pretty happy.
