Like many others, I also worked in that h*ll hole. I signed a one-year contract. I bailed out after three months. It is true about the apartments. It is true that the teachers in the school are as unfriendly as can be. It is true that Huludao is a third world city. It is true that the FAO, "Mr." Yang is worthless, sleezy, drunk most of the time and generally inept. Worst of all, it is true that he is highly abusive. He is a bully. And the lies never end on his end. He would play one group of foreign teachers off against another. It is also true that this is a school for retarded children. I am happy that a poster here "outed" it. It is also true that the weather is miserable -- it can be -30 C. for weeks on end. Summer is all of 8 weeks long. In my three months there, four teachers came and went, not including me.
