Re Spreading negativity and doubt

Not to mention that schools will give you an air ticket at the end of your contract, so reapplying for your visa back home isn't a huge deal.

In fact, if it gets rid of many young unwashed neck beard English teachers, it will totally be worth the minor inconvenience.

IIRC, they only give 7,000 rmb or so or sometimes less towards the cost of the airticket itself. My first college did book and pay for it for me though, and an FAO who I was friends with, helped me get one from Shanghai when I went home once, using her credit card, and then I repaid her. In the middle east, the ticket TO and BACK is paid for and arranged by the employer.

What on earth is a neck beard, something a "hipster" would know about? Much like nonce, never heard anyone but you use this term before. You are certainly an eccentric young scouser fellow my lad, are you not?

Well, if they make it less attractive, there's many other countries that you can work in. Not to mention that schools will give you an air ticket at the end of your contract, so reapplying for your visa back home isn't a huge deal.

Sod that, obtaining business visas or even legal employment is very easy.

If you are prepared to work for 5,500 at a public job it may well be. But I can assure you in general, getting a legal employment visa for China (if that is where you are referring to?) just became as hard as getting a visa for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for all purposes.

This guy had a DELTA and they still gave him the run-around. IF you are in China it is perhaps easy, but then they perhaps haven't started forcing FT's to return home annually....YET!!!

If you're talking about part time rates, that's nothing special. Some foreign teachers wrongly believe that they're getting a good deal for such fees as many a training centre will take French speaking Africans and Russian students on for between 50-100 a hour. Don't be so f**king desperate and demand more. Desperate teachers with nowhere else to go ruin things in China for everybody, not to mention foreigners with more respectable jobs because many of us are thought to be 'dirt poor, sleazy, English teaching scumbags.'

But marrying just for a visa? Sod that, obtaining business visas or even legal employment is very easy. If you have to MARRY for a reason other than love or accidental impregnation, you're probably not one of life's winners.

Personally I have found that working illegally makes a lot of sense. Don't be a big girl's blouse, marry into the country.

You do realize that you can be deported and fined for working illegally, don't you? Also, insults are not necessary.

You need a Chinese wife to work in China illegally. If you are not up to getting one of those, don't bother. Personally I have found that working illegally makes a lot of sense. Don't be a big girl's blouse, marry into the country.By the way I have been offered an increase of 250 yuan for next semester-that's 4250 yuan, now how bad is that for five hours a week illegally worked?+
