Calliope is a business, not a language center. With 100 percent turnover and a miserable atmosphere, they hold tight to their name as a bookstore, however there school is unprofessional and a disaster. They acquire clients (as they are the lowest bidder) and if you choose to be full time, promise many things (housing assistance, salary as listed, when there is no housing, support, and the salary is "negotiable" meaning they are going to offer you far less than what they advertise).

Once hired, you can expect a teacher to quit every month and to have to work at multiple schools for sometimes 35 contact hours. It is basically a great example of what not to do as a language school. The owner is obsessed with himself and thinks he knows how to run the school when in fact, the only reason the school exists is lack of options. ALC, AMIDEAST, and The British Council are by far superior. This school will hire anyone who can speak English.
