I have just read all of the various blogs that have appeared on New York Studio. I too am a female American teacher who worked at NYS about a year ago. The place is an absolute shambles and I can confirm that teachers are the lowest of the low and treated like dirt! They are NOT paid for travel over an hour, but as happened so often to me, they are often kept waiting for taxis and company cars for much longer periods of UNPAID time! I too only worked for a few months as I was so fed up with their attitude. This place sucks as does the condescending attitude of the management bitch who wrote the long reply. You have been warned about this place! Stay away!!
