Could the number of lessons fill up your schedule a little each weekend?
Quite right, like lambs to the slaughter the poor little shits; we teachers should be carefuller with our English.
which fill up my schedule a lot each weekend
Could the number of lessons fill up your schedule a little each weekend?
I have a group of students that reserve my lesson each week, then I also get some "Interest" lessons as well as some "Trial" lessons, which fill up my schedule a lot each weekend (I only work Saturdays and Sundays).
Were you paid for these classes?
I'm very happy with this company and have VERY little to complain about!
If they did not pay you for these classes, then you shouldn't be happy. Or are you just tooting their horn?
I've had the exact different experience. I have a group of students that reserve my lesson each week, then I also get some "Interest" lessons as well as some "Trial" lessons, which fill up my schedule a lot each weekend (I only work Saturdays and Sundays).
In addition, before I started working for them they asked for copies of both of my degrees (B.A. in Japanese and master's in Bilingual Education).
I'm very happy with this company and have VERY little to complain about!
Just a quick heads up regarding DaDaABC Online English school in China.
They will tell you they have a lot of available online teaching hours. Actually they do not have a lot of online teaching hours, if you get any work with them it will be minimum hours, just enough to keep the fish on the hook. They insist you give your name, age, nationality( no interest in you proving your qualifications or work references).
They then give your photo and your nationality to parents in China and ask them, does this teacher look nice enough for your kid? It is very young children only language learners, if the kid gets bored with your face on camera, the parents get a new selection of mugshots to choose from and you are unemployed, regardless of any promises given to you.
I know four female teachers friend that went through this nonsense and they sum it up as feeling abused, maybe we can agree or disagree with that.
So if you want to work for DaDaABC, at least you now know you were warned.
