I took part in the programme back in 2013 to volunteer in Austrian schools when ABCi was a much smaller organization, I hope things are going well with Frank and Ben. It was a great experience and they were good guys.
Looking at the webpages, it looks like the organization has grown a lot since my time: they now operate from three locations and have partnerships with Cambridge University English, Trinity College London and the Austrian Ministry of Education. It is honestly amazing to me how quickly the organization has grown from a couple guys, a few volunteers, a car and small office to what it is today.
After my time in Austria, I returned to Melbourne and decided to study to become a teacher here in Australia. I'm loving the course here and really looking forward to graduating and to teaching.
I can only sincerely thank Frank and Ben for providing the experience that lead me here. The hate coming from trolls on this page are (by their own admission) from people who were dismissed for doing things like smoking in front of kids and showing up late.
Grow up [deleted], nobody owes you anything. If you want to call out sick, show up late and smoke in front of schoolchildren, then found your own NPO where you let people do that.
Let’s see how that works out for you.
