Yeah this was the kitchen in an apartment 'suitable for a family' my wife was very impressed. Things didn't get better from there on out. I had to borrow money to pay rent in unpaid holidays and if I didn't have part time jobs I wouldn't have had enough money to feed my family.

Oh right and when the recruiter asked how things were going I told her and she was like oh, but iv had people accept apartments far worse than this.
Stay well away from that bloody recruiting agency.

Employment agents have long-term relationships with their clients. They receive feedback from the FTs that they have placed this year, last year, the year before, the year before that... FTs always complain to recruiters about the their situation at the employer where they have been placed. Recruiters are quite clear about the problems. As long as they are collecting their fees they will continue to lure more FTs each academic year for their abusive clients.
The FTs suffer, the school pays, the recruiters lie and, on this forum, one contributor always excuses their behavior

This recruiting company set me up with a school which was absolutely shocking.
They got me with - we can't send photos because there is someone occupying the apartment.
Okay yes this was stupid of me but my last school was reliable honest and they were the one I took the leap with from my home country.
They assured me the accommodation was top class.
No....the accommodation is SHIT!!! If they showed me the pictures they knew I wouldn't accept the job man....it's so bad. Find picture attached below.
By the way, the school is Shimen Middle School in Foshan.
