It appears that a former [edited] employee/s have an axe to grind, and probably talk bad about Thai people every chance they get. Why wouldn't they just get another job. The attitude expressed appears to be that of a superior academic that is much too qualified for this organization.
I do not know K.D.ERYARAR, but how can anyone distinguish a pedophile? This man obviously has a huge responsibility hiring 100's of teachers. MOST of the whiners here are actually looking to finance their sex addiction. WHOM ARE HERE FOR NANA PLAZA/Pattaya etc...they could get a job at a university in their home countries, and why should you expect a limo from the airport? Take a taxi or bus. This is not Paris and you are not going to the "red carpet" for a photo ops then the Landmark, Oriental or Peninsula for your nightly massage and 4 in-call girls.
I am an American physician and worked every kind of job imaginable from commercial fishing in Alaska to Combat in Iraq. http://www.moe.go.th/en/: there must be statements about the minimum level of professionalism that is expected on the part of schools when they hire teachers.
Are the parents who send their children to that school aware that the school hires paedophiles, retards and incompetent teachers? I would say that a public debate about that serious threat to the safety of children should involve the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice/Law Enforcement, and mostly the parents.

Why do you have something to fear now and not 2 years ago?? Is the government of Thailand starting to scrutinize your hiring practices as per your own words you hire paedophiles, retards and people who would not even be hired by McDonalds? And is it only your hiring practices that suck in your school, i.e. the rest of the school has high standards? How could a school with high standards tolerate such hiring practices for so many years? KD: From what you wrote this year, and 2 years ago, your school hires paedophiles and retards... My gosh, what kind of hiring procedures do you follow? How could you hire and let a paedophile teach at your school? Same for retards. Only a very very very incompetent hiring manager would do that. Are such hiring procedures (or absence thereof) legal in your country? Is it "normal" in your country to fire a guy and say that he is a paedophile and/or a retard AFTER HAVING HIRED HIM? When you hire teachers, aren't you supposed to protect the children who attend your school? For a paedophile or a retard to pass the hiring test, the vetting, and be put in charge of children, shows an absolute lack of competence and morality on the part of your hiring management. Shouldn't your school lose its licence for that? Shouldn't your school be put out of business by the government right away for that? Think about it KD: What is your responsibility right there, right at the moment such a teacher is hired? And why is your government allowing you to keep running a school? Who should we call/write to at your government, in order to report such scandal?

It is funny that AYC claims to pay on time, to reimburse visa runs, and to even follow a contract. I can say with complete honesty that i am NOT a pedophile or retard. In America, we are educated and are capable of reading contracts and tend to be politically correct. Retard? Pedophile? Seriously? Are you 5 years old? I have never once been paid on time and why? Because KD has a drinking and gambling problem. The man literally takes teachers' salaries and gambles the money away. I was OK with this agency and KD's "secret" problem (not so secret when everyone is aware of it, including the schools, which is why so many contracts have been dropped from AYC). When did i start having a problem? When i was given permission by my school director to take a visa run during my perferred time period and not AYC's. What happened? As i was on a bus out of the country, i get a call saying that i will be deducted 1700 THB (over my daily rate) because they last minute decided my visa run timimg was not good for them. Now i have a serious problem with AYC because they gave me a "poor performance" rating because I caught the flu (was hospitalized) and missed 2.5 days of school, i also had an accident and was again hospitalized and could not walk and missed a few days to heal my ankle. In my contract i was allocated sick days,.i used them, but they deducted an extra day of pay from my salary. OK, fine, take another day from my salary, not much i could do since i was in the hospital. But why give me a "poor performance" rating and deduct my bonus??? Isnt it enough that you take 20,000+ TBH from my monthly salary? I am a very well respected US citizen, graduated college with a 3.6 GPA, zero criminal record, and no drinking problem. My students respected me and I went above and beyond my daily tasks as a teacher. I even VOLUNTEERED teaching for AYC on numerous occasions and all i got was a smack in the face. Maybe some people are criminals and pedopgiles and that is awful, but it is even more awful that AYC hires them....AYC the pedophile enablers of Thailand. Shame on ypu, KD. Have some common decency. Stop blaming others for your faults. I hope you look in the mirror someday and see who you have become.

It is good to see those comments as with those, i am thinking we are doing something good.
For those who wonder about those comments if they are true or not; those comments are mostly coming from paedophiles or retards that we fired long ago. Or the ones who cannot accomplish anything and when we show them the way because of their incompetence, they start to blame us as it is the easiest thing to do, blaming someone else for your own failures is a total runaway.
So, it is up to you to believe or not and close the biggest and most reliable source of teaching jobs in Thailand to your face.

Well AYC would be considered by most to be the McDonalds of Teacher placement agencies in Thailand, along with SIAM computer, and ECC Thailand.
They will take anyone, but you must be "WHITE" not any shade of white but white. If you are of another race such as Black, Asian, Indian basically Non-aryan, this is true, they won't even consider you even if you have the best of best qualifications. If you are young, they might give you school choices in Bangkok or around bangkok. If you are over 40 then you get stuck out in the fields / provances and left to fend for yourselves.
