Let me also clarify, I don't think non-native speakers should teach English unless they hold a C2 certification and even then should only be allowed to teach up to A2 level.

I appreciate that you have told him. It's the same what I have told him so many times. Being a native speaker without a degree or with a fake degree is not enough for teaching ESL..
I just answered Beth by mistake, I meant to answer you. I also included the wrong quote. My apologies to her. Anyway, let's us not forget that you are on record for stating that English Literature is not a qualifying degree.
It's not good enough to have any sort of degree if you cannot handle the language properly. I maintain that certain degreeless FT's know English better than second language English teachers.
