For those who can read. An excerpt from that link, which clearly says you won't have to be a qualified teacher as long as you have a TEFL or TESL. Let's get this right Turnoi; are you saying that FT's with a degree plus TEFL or TESL are qualified teachers?? However, it may become more difficult for good degreeeless native speakers to secure positions. This will of course open the flood-gates to even more non-native teachers to mislead the students with their atrocious grammar and sentence structure. Or come out with stuff like 'a donkey in the bush is worth two in the hand.' Unfortunately you can't rely on the Chinese to get things right all the time- would you agree?

Language teachers will be required to have teaching qualifications or other international language teaching certificates, such as TEFL and TESL.
