Avoid saying anything negative about your current or previous supervisor and organization. Maintain your eye contact with the interviewer without glaring at him as eye contact reflects your confidence level. Simultaneously looking good is also important, so wear something formal and decent as one can avoid flaunting expensive clothes or jazzy accessories in an interview.

You might even be nervous before the interview, as its the case with almost every interviewee. However, you must realize that its ok to be nervous and the earlier you accept your nervousness, the better will be your performance during the interview. Often situations tend to worsen if you try to suppress your anxiety, rather try to get relieved of it by diverting your mind to some light thoughts and taking some deep breaths. Also, do keep your mind open for all kinds of feedback from the interviewer whether positive or negative as any feedback will help you improve for your next interview.

On the day of the interview, make sure you reach the venue on time but certainly turning up too early shows that you have enough time in your hands. You must arrive on time but not before 15 minutes of the given time and in case you get stuck due to some unavoidable circumstances then call up and tell them about your delay along with an apology. Lastly, never forget to carry extra copies of your resume and passport size photographs when you are going for an interview.
