Interview Preparation Part 1 - 8 Non Verbal Signals That Says More About You Than Your Resume

We all know that sometimes we say more with our body language than with our words. So if youre getting to do some Interview Preparation, than become aware of your Non Verbal Signals That Says More about You than Your Resume.

These signals can cause you to fail all by themselves, regardless of how professional your Resume is. Regardless of who you know or even if you say all the right things. In this Article Im going to share with you 8 Non Verbal Signals that can sink your ship before it gets out of the harbor.

1. Crossed Arms this little gem says a lot about you but not all good, you look contemptuous.

2. Tapping your Fingers here you will look impatient and as thought youre being delayed.

3. Shifting Weight either with your foot or in a seat, its important to maintain good posture.

4. Frowning this interview should be exciting for you, so let them know it.

5. Clenched Jaw you will appear frustrated and not at all the type of open and cooperative person most companies want.

6. Slumped Posture sit erect in your chair, maintain good posture it shows control and a certain degree of discipline.

7. Clasp youre Hands on your Head this shows that youre too relaxed and take this meeting with the same importance you do sitting at home with they guys.

8. Avoid Eye Contact - be willing to look the interviewer in the eye, otherwise they may think you have something to hide.

Take a look at this list and determine which of these Non Verbal Signals you may have let a habit becomes. Than get a friend to practice youre interviewing with and have them mark down if they see any of these body language signs.
