Inspirational Thoughts on Families
By:Bruno Baceli

From the age of our first ancestors to modern society, the family is at the center of our lives. Here are a few family inspirational thoughts on the subject.

Sometimes, the best thing for your speech or essay is a quote. Famous (and infamous) people have all said and written phrases that have become part of our everyday speech. From political statements such as Give me liberty or give me death! (Patrick Henry, during the Revolutionary War) to silly quotes from movies and television, there are more quotes being brought into our memories everyday. We can use quotes to make a point in conversation, or to make someone laugh, or to bring up someone's spirits quotes are perfect for many different occasions.

There are many different categories of quotes, from serious literary quotes, to Bible passages, to political and philosophical quotes. One category of these sayings that is often overlooked, but should be well-loved, is the family. These quotes, which are usually heartwarming, insightful and sometimes religious, can be great ways to get your feelings about family across to other people in your life. Many different people have spoken about families, some of them famous, and some not as well known.

One of the more excellent family inspirational quotes comes from an unlikely place. Albert Einstein is known for his scientific theories and for revolutionizing physics, but he also had a family and loved them very much. This quote definitely shows Einstein's ideas of passing down information and other items of importance to later generations: Bear in mind that the wonderful things you learn in your schools are the work of many generations. All this is put in your hands as your inheritance in order that you may receive it, honor it, add to it, and one day faithfully hand it on to your children.

Another quote comes from an old Chinese proverb and speaks to the fact that women, or mothers, are very important when it comes to making your home a great place for family. The quote states: A hundred men may make an encampment, but it takes a woman to make a home. The Chinese believed that no matter how go a man may be at war or business, women truly make a house a home. There are many people who might think that this is old-fashioned idealism, but if you think of the quote as meaning it takes a whole family working together to make a home it's still true today.

What is undeniable is the family is the anchor of much of civilization. Although marriage appears to becoming less popular given recent statistics, this still seems to be the case.
