Shine and provoke envy. What is this, a warning to be discrete or humble, to hide talents and gifts, wealth and abilities or are we to display ourselves, live to the fullist and dismiss the envy of others? Envy and greed go way back to our semian roots, caught up in animal social hierarchy.

I admire others at times, even trees, art, and animals, but have little envy. I guess this comes from being content. After all, we can't be and do everything in one life.
