I am sure that you will find a school in China. Although native speakers are preferred by most schools, there are some language schools that employ Filipino teachers as well. I work for a very popular language school here in Guangzhou and I have 2 Filipino co- teachers. Even though they are not native speakers I must say that they not only speak good English (with American accent) but they also are very effective teachers. They are the favorite of the parents and I sometimes get jealous of it. They are so good that they get the lion's share of the work load as they are the most efficient and effective teachers in our school. I sometimes feel that my other colleagues (other caucasians) are too dumb to teach here. Some are not even college graduates. But that is the sad story sometimes. Locals prefer a white face.
