France was in a nationwide state of emergency on Saturday following Friday night’s attack in Paris from Islamic State. It comes just 10 months after the Charlie Hebdo magazine attack where 12 people were killed.

The latest terrorist incident was the worst such attack Paris has experienced since World War II. The French President Monsieur Hollande called the coordinated attacks “an act of war.”

Roleplay: In groups. One of you is the interviewer. The others are one of the following people. You are in the Discussion FM radio studio. Today’s interview is about: Paris horror – Islamic State claim responsibility – on Friday 13th. 1) A tourist who was in the Bataclan Concert Hall. 2) A sports fan who was in the sports stadium. 3) Someone who near to Le Petit Cambodge at the time of the attack. 4) The French President. -- Discussion.
