ESL English Lesson: Is vinyl making a comeback?
David Robinson
Vinyl records in the UK are making a comeback, or so it seems. Recent figures indicate that sales of vinyl records are steadily increasing. The format is set to have its highest figures since 1996, with sales in 2014 expected to go above the one million mark. One reason is because of a backlash from people against the increasingly digitised world that we live in. Another reason could be because of the original artwork that albums offer fans. Many still crave the high audio quality and the purity of sound that you get in vinyl.
