Boardwalk

Monopoly is not the only place where you can pay a visit to the Boardwalk. The original sight is located in Atlantic City and is one of the well-known attractions found on the East Coast. The Boardwalk is known across the United States, as well as on an international level. Measuring more than four miles, this sight offers a variety of eateries, shops, and access to the beach. While enjoying the scenery and experience, sampling the famous saltwater taffy of the city is a complete must.

Steel Pier

Located across from the Taj Mahal Casino at Virginia Avenue, you will encounter the amusement pier, which offers a wealth of history to explore. It is here that a variety of carnival games and rides are situated, which makes the perfect stop for a range of visitors, including vacationing families to lovers enjoying a romantic stop by the beach.

Ripleys Believe It or Not Museum

When it comes to exploring the unknown, the unexplainable, or the just plain weird, it is the Ripleys Believe It or Not Museum in Atlantic City that will provide loads of entertainment. For a pleasing Boardwalk detour, the Absecon Lighthouse serves as the tallest lighthouse in all of New Jersey. To enjoy a host of beautiful views about the city, the lighthouse is a great sight that dates back to 1855. Depending on the time of year that you visit this attraction, you may come across a variety of events, such as childrens art exhibitions, garden parties, wine tasting parties, and entertaining murder mysteries. One of the first establishments about the Boardwalk is called the Resorts, which is situated on Pennsylvania Avenue. Next to this casino, the Trump Taj Mahal is positioned on Virginia Avenue, which offers a theme based upon the Arabian Nights tales. On Arkansas Avenue, you will encounter Caesars, boasting some of the best rooms in the city.

When visiting Michigan Avenue, you will come across the Bally's Wild Wild West Casino, which takes themed casinos to the next level. Want more options? Additional casino attractions in Atlantic City includes the Sands (Indiana Avenue); Trump Plaza (Mississippi Avenue); Atlantic City Hilton (end of the Boardwalk); and Harrah's (Boardwalk via Brigantine Boulevard).
