Maintain Your Motivation - Use These 4 Tips to Avoid Dream Thieves
By:Anthony D Carter

Dream stealers come in all shapes sizes and colors. They could be your friend mother brother or sister. Do not let anyone drain your motivation. Here are four tips for protecting your self against dream thieves.

Dream big. Get a dream so big that you absolutely must have it. It should be so big that it motivates you to act. The thought of obtaining your dream should excite you. This excitement and expectation fuels your motivation.

Keep it to yourself. Protect your dream by keeping it to yourself until you have had some success and established positive momentum. You don't want other people trying to talk you out of your dream. You can also do without the ridicule in the early going. Some people like to tease others in order to make themselves feel better about their mediocrity.

Gravitate towards positive successful people. Find people who have experienced the success that you are striving for. It helps you mentally and emotionally when you can align yourself with someone who knows how to get where you want to go. They increase your belief by inspiring you. When you are inspired it is easy to remain motivated.

Believe in yourself. You must believe in yourself. Know that you can accomplish what you set out to achieve. The only one who can stop you is you. The two emotions that can take you down are fear and doubt. Build your belief so that these two emotions do not inhibit your action. The stronger your confidence is the easier it is to be motivated.
