1. Let go of the past. Until you do so, it will continue to haunt you & keep you from living the present & planning for the future.

2. Avoid negative thinking. If you are choosing to start over, I assume you were not happy with your life before so make plans to make changes in whatever aspect of your life you feel needs inprovement.

3. Learn from your mistakes. In doing this, try not to repeat things that have never really worked for you before by either avoiding or making changes.

4. Keep an open mind in order to learn and futher explore situations you are presented with in order to make better choices and avoid making mistakes.

5. Change your surroundings. This can be very helpful and exciting at the same time when trying to meet your needs in a more different and new way.

6. Establsih goals and take the necessary steps to assure you accomplsh them to the best of your abilities.

7. Try to be yourself. Part of starting over is being the person you really are and perhaps have always wanted to be. Here is your chance!

8. Educate yourself as much as possible. This will better prepare you this time around and provide you with a variety of resources that can be useful in improving overall quality of life.

9. Be extra careful and take your time with the decisions you make and behaviors you choose to engage in. This will lead to less regrets and guilt.

10. Recognize that part of life is being able to fall and get back up. Everyday you wake up, gives you the chance to start over especially if you are not happy with the results.
