Release Your Subconscious Fears
By:Melissa Kitto

Let's take a look at how to apply the Law of Attraction in your daily life. Simply stated the Law of Attraction means "My thoughts and feelings create my reality."

Often, people become frustrated that the goals they are working on manifesting just don't seem to become a reality. This is almost always because they have a subconscious block or fear that is sabotaging their success. This can be very subtle, because you may not be consciously aware of your not-so-good habits.

Here are 5 steps you can take to unlock and release your subconscious fears

Step 1: Look at the area in your life you would MOST like to improve at this time.

Just pick one! Rome wasn't built in a day! Common areas that you might want to improve are: money, relationships, communication, self-esteem, physical health, direction, organization.

If you try to change everything in your life at once, you will probably start to feel overwhelmed. That overwhelm can give you an excuse to criticize and sabotage yourself.

Step 2: Cleanse, clear your mind, take a few deep breaths and relax. Ask your inner guidance/angels to show you an experience from your first seven years which relates to this area you want to improve. Spend about three minutes seeing and feeling this experience. Then, make notes about what you experienced.

Step 3: Look at your parents attitudes.

Ask your guidance: "What attitude did my father have about x (substitute money, relationships etc)? What attitude did my mother have about x? Write down at least three words or phrases for each parent.

Step 4: Meditate on what you have written down. Identify which not-so-good habits you have picked up from your parents, that no longer serve you. Spend 3-5 minutes contemplating with your guides. They will share with you ideas and insights you would not have realized on your own. You might hear words, see a picture, or have a feeling.

Step 5: Release the fear and replace it with a new habit. Visualize the fear as a large circle. Then, see this circle getting smaller and smaller until it finally disappears. Ask your guides what new habit you need to replace the old one with. If you don't replace it, you will be left with a void and you will likely fall back into your old habit. (Ever done that before?? I have.)

For example, the fear of not having enough money could be replaced by a belief that there is always enough.

From now on, every time you catch yourself falling back into the habit you released, affirm your new habit. After a while your new habit will become natural and a part of you. You will find it hard to see how you ever managed before with the old habit.
