Feeling Tired? Here are the Top Three Things to Do to Jump Start Your New Life
By:Christopher Walker

Feeling tired? Exhausted? Bored? Burned out? Sad allot? Frustrated? Emotional? Edgy?

Here are the top three things to do to jump start your new life

1/ Label tiredness as depression.

Tired means depressed. That means something that you expected to happen in your life, didn’t. It’s not chronic, or in need of anti depressant medicine, but in need of anti depressant actions. Here’s a to do list to get your head out of the sand and loose the depression.

Stand tall, your spine is probably slumped. Slumped spine – depressed mind.

Breathe in deep – depression causes shallow inhalation and long puffy exhalation.

Eat no carbohydrate or sugar. The withdrawal might kill you but the result is a lightness of being

Think balance. There’s two sides to everything. See them both and focus on the good news.

Dump the expectation. You wanted to be something, have something, or someone, or do something. Dump it, think about all the negative consequences of doing or getting what you expected.

Aerobic exercise is an anti depressant.

Alcohol is a depressant

Daytime TV and late nights cause depression.

2/ Learn meditation. Preferably Zen. Learn to get back into your own skin. Tiredness comes when you really don’t like who you are, as you are. Learn to sit with yourself. Do not journal and write down all your opinions. Learn to sit in meditation and like the feeling of being, doing and having nothing. An energy booster you can be sure.

3/ Tiredness, Chronic fatigue and depression all come from the ambitious mind. I want this, I want that, I don’t want this and I don’t want that. This is the rubbish that piles up in the mind of someone who is on a one track path to tiredness/ You must re evaluate your goals and ambitions. Gratitude and unhappiness cannot co exist. So, the idea is to set small daily increments of life growth that you can be thankful for. Here are mine.

I woke up today

I got out of bed today

I breathed a breath of fresh air

I smiled twice today

I remembered someone I love today

I felt compassion for two people today

I bathed my body and acknowledged the miracle of my being

I prayed for children to be fed.

I gave something to someone they really appreciated

I changed my mind about something negative today

I emailed a friend

I worked on my work

I meditated today for 5 minutes

I did one yoga salute to open my spine

I did something that made me puff hard for 15 minutes

I took a photo of something that I love today

I came up with a new idea today

I wrote some thoughts and shared them

I gave 10 compliments today

Now, I do more than this, and I have big goals but I know, that if I do each of these every day, then step by step I achieve my aims, without spoiling my life with ungrateful ambition.

Please celebrate the day and the year will be wonderful
