My New Years Resolutions
By:Roy Martin

Now we move on again, a new year and a new stack of resolutions down the proverbial drain. No, not this time, all excuses have expired. This year will happen not the same. Nowadays, you come up with a preparation that works. Tradition dictates that every 365 days, you must try to kick bad lifestyle and start your life anew. So sit down with a cup of coffee, a paper and a pen, and reflect: What kinds of New Year Resolutions will you manage for yourself this January 1st?

This are selected illustration of my new years resolutions as a guide:
* Lose Weight
* Manage Debt
* Get a Better Job
* Get Fit
* Drink Less Alcohol
* Quit Smoking Now
* Reduce Stress Overall
* Take a Trip
*
Stay realistic by setting achievable goals. Winning the lottery, for instance, is out of your grasp. Start with the standard that one and only one resolution at a period is necessary. Trying to stop drinking, lose weight and quit smoking at the same period would be ridiculously aggressive. Take the single thing that is generally important to your health and well being and tackle it first. Record down your top resolutions in a notebook or journal. Next to each one, mark down why it is valuable to you.

*
Explain your resolutions in definite terms. Instead of "I don't like to be lazy," opt for "I like to work out regularly" or "I will drop down on my television watching." Break the adjustment down into small convenient procedures. Use a graph, pareto chart or other visual manifestation of the tasks you will need to accomplish to achieve your goal. And be realistic about it. Fifty pounds in fifty days will land you in the hospital if you are foolish enough to starve yourself to succeed. If you have a great weight loss, think of your achievement as a three-stage process. In the first quarter of the new year, you will accomplish one third of the loss (i.E. 20 lbs.), the next quarter will be the subsequent 20 and by the end of September, you will achieve the total loss. Otherwise, you can focus on the number of hours of exercise instead. Number your resolutions in order of importance. From 1 being the most important and so on. You might need to start from the lowest up to the most important. Read more............
