Daily Affirmations - Using the Power of the "I" Statement

Affirmations are repeated phrases aimed at your success. They program your mind to accept positive changes. We tune more regularly to negative feedback from our conscious minds. This gets embedded in our subconscious with time. And we act as we are directed by our subconscious. Practice positive thoughts to implant only positive habits in your subconscious mind. Take out the time to create daily affirmations. And repeat them everyday.

Always use the present tense when forming daily affirmations.
Pretend that the things you want in life have already happened.
Use 'I' as often as possible to frame your daily affirmations.
Never use negative statements like 'I don't want to be fat'. Your mind will only register the word 'fat'. Consider this, when I say, 'Do not think about a red flower'. You did just that. Your mind did not listen to the 'Do not' part.
You did something else just then. You visualized. That is another important tool to aid your success in affirmations. Visualize your success as you say your affirmations.
Keep your affirmations short and simple. For example:
I am wisdom and courage.
I am an inspiration.
I believe in unlimited possibilities.
I trust my intuition.
Love surrounds me.
I celebrate life.
Opportunity is everywhere.

You can make a vision board and put this list along with pictures.
Your daily affirmations should be repeated many times in a day with positive feeling.
Make sure you create affirmations in a way that catches your eye in case you forget to repeat them.
Place or write your affirmations on small items or magnets so that you can put them in convenient or surprising places. When you chance upon them your mind will register them with novelty, hence a stronger impression and memory is created of daily affirmations.
Believe in your daily affirmations. Know that they have the power to transform you, your life. Attach emotion and positive energy when repeating them.
Ignore all negative thoughts you face when repeating affirmations. That is old conditioning of the mind. Your purpose is to make the new conditioning stronger and permanent.
When you start believing in your daily affirmations, you will notice a change in yourself. You will become what you affirm to yourself daily.
