Sometimes in life it's OK to be cautious. You can take everything at a leisurely pace -- with little or no urgency. At such times you can afford to 'sit on the fence' and wait to see 'where the wind blows'.

But at other times...

You have to throw all caution to the wind and just do it...

You have to put in everything you've got and play full out...

At such times you can't half step - because the slightest bit of hesitation will result in failure...

And to ensure failure's not an option, you must burn all bridges behind you so you can't turn back...

No Retreat, No Surrender.

Doing this will greatly increase your chances of success in life.

Because when you know you can't retreat, you'll find the strength to pull through any crisis. You'll fight back against all odds. You'll achieve your goal no matter what.

Here's a short story that clearly demonstrates how a 'no retreat, no surrender' approach can get you what you want in life...

Long ago, a general landed his army on an island where they were greatly outnumbered by a powerful enemy. Immediately upon landing he ordered all the ships to be burnt in full view of his army. Then he turned to his men and told them there were only two ways off the island: death or victory.

With no option for retreat, the army went on to victory.

No Retreat, No Surrender.

You see, sometimes our dreams require major sacrifices from us.

They may cost us our relationships...

Your self esteem might take a few knocks along the way...

Maybe your social life will suffer...

And the chances are you'll have a few financial struggles along the way too...

But the truth is...

The bigger the dream, the bigger the sacrifice. And the bigger the sacrifice, the greater the rewards.

So stay strong.

Stay focused.

Never give up.

And don't Retreat or Surrender.
