This is a space of private reflection, where exploring the depths of your being is greatly encouraged. A place of frolicking into the unknown is where you are now. No worries are allowed. We are simply exploring here and playing with the possibilities. Now let's take a peek as to why you might have arrived on my virtual doorstep.
Warning: This blessed journey of looking within is not for the meek, mild or nonplussed. Nor is it for any voyeurs, thank you. It IS for the passionate and oh-so-tempted. It IS for the willing and for the bold. It IS for those that are seeking something more and who have had enough of the same old same olds. If this is you, then let the healing begin.
Those who have that sinking feeling about their lives being "stuck," and they don't know what to do about it, relax. You can exhale now and settle in. To those who inherently know that you must go deeper to capture the gold, you can chill too and know that you are in good company. For those who have great courage and strength, this is your limitless playground. For those who mildly suspect that they have great courage and strength within them, this is your playground too. This path of self-discovery has been waiting for you. It has been waiting for you to be so dissatisfied and disenchanted with your life, that you finally reach for something more. You are on your way to creating a new springing off place, a new and enchanted home.
Let's just clarify, where you are is perfect. Where you are is blessed and what is happening in this very moment is all part of the perfection. Call it good, for good it is. For this place is the glorious contrast of what you know is waiting for you, if you indeed allow it. Any pain, drama, suffering, struggle and dis-ease that you have experienced are your divine gifts. For these gifts brought you to this very moment of awareness. This awareness of knowing that you deserve to have joy in your life and to feel good is your highest Self tapping on your shoulder and whispering to you your dreams.
So why do we resist going deep below the surface?
Some Inherent Possibilities:
It's too intimidating to look at what you've been covering up for so long.
Sheer laziness abounds and you are resistant to change.
One must be courageous to go where the jagged edges are.
One has to risk being "wrong" and looking "bad."
One might find out that they are not indeed "perfect."
Responsibility is calling you to be taken and that feels like too much to handle.
Being stuck is familiar and safe.
Your dreams might be considered "crazy" to those whose opinions you care about.
One has a possible fear of success, of change, of being judged, of failure, of rocking the boat or of what one's heart
might be telling them.
There's just way too much to look at and it's all too overwhelming.
It's easier to blame someone else for our lives being the way that they are.
Resistance to shaking up any current dynamics in the household is what holds you back.
This path is one of authenticity and that is an unfamiliar and scary place.
The list goes on, but why place our energy there? That is such a disempowering and dark place. If you recognized any of those traits within you, then here is some news for you.
