How to Dramatically Improve Your Concentration and Enjoy More of What You Do

Use these tips to gain more focus and improve your concentration.

*When you catch your mind racing, make the conscious attempt to slow down, by using deep breathing.

*Take action to let go of procrastination of details. This will clear your mind and allow more space for you to be in the moment.

*Break tasks down into manageable steps.

*Use your imagination before you begin a project to see the end result at the start of each small task.

*Simplify: clear your desk, remove and give away or donate unnecessary things, clothes, nicknacks, magazines what ever is environment. This lowers your stress level.

* Give yourself permission to succeed. Commit to follow through on the small steps each piece at a time. This requires that you follow the step.

*Remove distractions, and grow your patience muscle. The more you do this, you program your mind that reaching the end of the task is in fact a concrete possibility. In the end the cats, dogs, and kids, will surely benefit so right now they must wait.

*Set out extra time to complete tasks. This way, you are not stressed about hurrying up near the end. This is where the problem may stem from, so stop this cycle ahead of time. Allot enough time to practice the skills of improving your concentration at this part of the process. You need (not a want) all your energy to go towards focusing on the completion of the task.

*Consciously notice that you have completed a task before you move on in order to develop and refine your mental program and the positive effects: Close your eyes for a second and focus on the achievement and let the positives in, feel them. *Counteract frustration with more action, stick with a task a little longer each time, read one more sentence, make one more call ect.. Give your mind the evidence that it is in fact possible to improve your concentration. You will begin to believe it, making it a reality.
