Halloween Fun
By:Bridgitte Williams

Halloween should be an exciting and fun time. Here are some ways to enjoy it even more.

1. Plan a Halloween party at your house.

Party plans could include these things.

Get some good DVDs to show to your guests. For example, The Evil Dead, House, The Fly, Scream and the Halloween series are all good choices. Have some scary music on hand for that group of party guests that may not be in the mood to watch scary movies. An example of some Halloween songs could be Thriller or Welcome to my nightmare by Alice Cooper. You could also pick up a CD that has scary Halloween music for the theme. Serve your guests multicolored drinks using green, red and orange food coloring. Be creative with the food you serve. You can add green food coloring to dips or soups. A green dip and chips will certainly bring a howl from your guests. A green ghoul soup will bring a scream of delight.

A Jell-O mold with candy jelly worms inside would add some surprise to the table. If you really want to go all out, make the party a costume party. Give a best costume prize. For more party entertainment you can let guests take turns telling a scary story of their own most frightening experience. You could also play a CD of scary stories. Dim the lights and listen. These tips should help liven up any party.

2. Go visit a local haunted house with a group of friends, relatives or alone. These are usually set up in most cities by various groups and charities. They charge a small fee for your visit. It is usually worth it.

3. Go to theater to see a scary movie. This can be done in a group or alone.

4. Go visit a nightclub that is holding an advertised costume party or Halloween celebration. People are usually friendlier and easier to meet on holidays. You can also go with a group of friends or relatives for more fun.

5. Take a child trick or treating. It does not have to be your child. Some parents welcome a break and will be delighted that you offered to.

I hope that these tips gave you some exciting plans for your Halloween. Remember to have a safe driver for any of these plans. Have a Happy Halloween!
