One player is chosen to be a "searcher" who goes to the corner of the room, turns towards the wall. another player the "hider" is chosen to hide the chalk in the room. after the chalk is hidden, the teacher says:"searcher, the game begins." searcher begins looking for the chalk. the other children cry out : "cold , cold ....", if the seacher is far from the chalk or "warm, warm...." , if the seacher is near the chalk. when the searcher finds the chalk, the teacher chooses a new "hider" and a new "seacher". the game continues.
