Games can add another dimension of learning to the classroom even at the college level. Two of my best professors, both with doctorate degrees, used games now and then to add pizazz to the material. The results were great. The information was absorbed into our long-term memory easier when games were incorporated into the classroom.
Learning is wonderful, but lets face it, not everything we need to learn in school at any level is always thrilling. "Dry" subject material can be made more interesting, understandable, and memory-retained by using games now and then. People like to have fun at all ages.
