Place plastic letters in a bowl.

Divide flashcards by their beginning letters.

Each student draws a letter from the bowl and then finds the flashcards associated with that letter.

Alphabet missing letter:

Write the letters of the alphabet on the board in a jumble.

The children put their heads in their hands while you rub one or more letters off the board.

Get the children to identify which letter is missing.

Play with only a few letters and add letters gradually
