Make alphabet flashcards or short words with sounds under study and spread them on the floor.

Print the necessary sounds in italics or use another color for them.

For each sound under study, provide a cut-out of a large tree.

Write or paint the sound/letter on the trunk of the tree.

Ask the students to “hang” words on slips of paper containing the sound from the branches of the tree.

Have the Students look for the necessary sounds/words and “hang” their flashcards on the trees accordingly.
