Visiting Cabo San Lucas
By:Jason A. Martin

Cabo San Lucas is well known among vacationers. While it's not heavily populated, it's heavily visited. Cabo San Lucas is located on the coast of the southern tip of Baja California, Mexico. Each year many from the United States flock here to vacation in what many believe is a piece of paradise. The more affluent residents of Mexico also frequent the area.

Cabo San Lucas is an extremely popular port of call for cruise ships. Many cruises from Los Angeles to Mexico included Cabo San Lucas in the itinerary. Being on the coast, Cabo San Lucas is known for its beaches. These aren't any ordinary beaches either. They are pristine. The beaches in Cabo San Lucas keep travelers coming back time and time again.

If you love seafood, Cabo San Lucas is going to delight you. The food is fresh as you might imagine. Of course, most travelers are there to party and enjoy the activities such as sports fishing, adventure tours, water sports and much more.

Speaking of sport fishing, Cabo San Lucas holds a Marlin fishing tournament each year. This isn't any ordinary fishing tournament. Sponsored by the city, the Marlin tournament features a $1 million jackpot. It's definitely an attraction all by itself.

Nature lovers will want to check out the "El Arco de Cabo San Lucas." It's an awesome rock formation in the sea that resembles a Triceratops drinking the water. It's quite the sight. The "El Arco de Cabo San Lucas" is considered by many to be one of the rare and most interesting creations by nature in North America. Bring your camera when you go check it out.

For the partygoers, Cabo San Lucas offers some of the best nightlife found anywhere. If you are looking for a unforgettable night out, this is the place to be. It's been said that Cabo San Lucas rivals Las Vegas. You'll have to go to compare for yourself.

If you have the time, take a trip up north to Cabo San Lucas. It's only 20 miles away. It also offers a great atmosphere as well as picturesque panoramic views of the hills. Again, bring your camera and plenty of film or memory card space.

Remember, when you visit Cabo San Lucas, there's only one rule—live it up to the fullest. Enjoy your stay and take back some memories. Whether you fly into Cabo San Lucas or stop there as part of a cruise, one thing is for sure—you can't stay there long enough.
