Currently I'm a student at the University of Colorado and am thinking about taking a year off through our time out program to travel to South America. There's a summer program here where I can get a TEFL certification, but I don't know if it would help me get some kind of a teaching position down there, either giving private lessons or at an institution, if I don't have a bachelor's degree yet?? I'm very ambitious, patient and work well with others, especially kids. I'm currently taking spanish classes, and have taken them for 5 years, so I have a fair understanding of the language. If anyone has any tips or info for me, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
