Travel in Latin America
The Dr continues to get more expensive. The gasoline is at five dollars per gallon. The World Bank and the IMF and the Fernandez administration would have you believe it is all rosy. The fact is as Bob clearly states people aren't eating. I estimate actual dollar exchange rate to be at 98 to 1. The prices cost more than five to twelve times as much as US prices. Especially on necessities such as food and medicine. President Leonel taxes everything, even food and medicine. He acts like the DR is a an American state. He has took away the right to bear arms and it is becoming Americanized something it's people were not ready for. The people well send this American back to New York where he belongs. The peso is being held up by hype and IMF dollars. You will see 100 to 1 when the reality of the economy falls to it's real level.
