Thanks for the great info, I had a similar experience in Cusco peru and I have managed to learn spanish and I believe I end in Intermediate level which will help me a lot in my college study.

Also I have been to Machu Picchu and did some rafting. All together Cusco is the best place to travel and learn spanish in my opinion. The school I were I learned is called Speak Easy Spanish School and is located in the center of Cusco Which was easy to get around. They also set me with all of my traveling and accommodations needs.
