Re: Teaching in Uruguay
In Response To: Teaching in Uruguay (MAAV)
Hi, I worked at the ANGLO in Montevideo last year, which also has smaller schools all throughout Uruguay. I enjoyed working there and earned about $US7. The living costs are quite high in Uruguary though. It shouldn't be hard to get a job there. I speak fluent Spanish, am Australian and have a CELTA teaching certificate and my boss said I was a lot more qualified than other teachers who had worked there. Very few native speakers work in Uruguay so it shouldn't be hard to find work!
