CLI’s private English classes cater to international clients looking to learn English in one of the most international towns in the world. Students come to learn and practice English with both non-native and native English speakers from around the world. Walk down the streets of Cabarete and you will hear conversations in Russian, Spanish, English, French, Italian, Dutch, German and other languages as well. But as is the case in many parts of the world the lingua franca of Cabarete is English.

CLI also has a social outreach program called Opportunities in English program provides group English classes for low- to moderate-income individuals in the Cabarete area. Students benefit from: student-centered instruction; certified and dynamic teachers; interactive and practical classes that are based on oral communication; small class size (maximum 5 students) which provides more speaking time and individual attention; a relaxed and friendly learning environment; and CLI’s signature Opportunity Hour. Many of our students are supported through our Opportunities Sponsorship Program and Scholarship Fund.
