Re: Can anyone translate these 5 spanish words into english please?
By:Maria

I'm an English teacher and I'm from Spain. La paloma = the pidgeon, tumbao = don't know how to translate it but it's to say that someone dances really well, that has a natural rhythm, that dances so well that you can tell that he really feels the music and knows how to move, usually used for southamerican music like salsa, tumbado = means something completely different from having a good rhythm, it means "lied down2, el impermeable = don't know how to translate it but it is that kind of cloth used to not get wet from the rain (looks like a coat but not keep warm, the cloth is usually thin and looks like a kind of plastic to not let the rain go through) , alma = soul or the inner part of something, the essence (yes, it can be somebody's name like my cousin's), el peleramo (1st time I hear it). Hope I helped
