How to Translate English to French

So you want to translate English to French? You shouldn't worry because it has become extremely easy to translate English to French in these internet days.

The method you use to translate English to French will depend upon the reason why you need the translation. If you are doing it for basic conversation, an online method will be quicker and easier but if you are learning French as part of a class it may better to use an English-French dictionary.

Whatever your reasons for translating English to French, you should feel good about learning a new language.

Learn the basic greetings by heart. If you starting to learn French you should try and memorize basic sayings. For Example, Hello= Bonjour, Goodbye= Au Revoir, How are you?= Comment ca-va? I am Fine= Ca va bien. I don't speak French= Je ne parles Francais.

Write down the words in English that you wish to translate into French. If it is a whole sentence then have that ready. If you are translating for a class you should use an English-French dictionary and make sure that the tense is correct. However, if you just want to know what to say you can look online at a free translating service. (Look in the resources for a good dictionary for translating English to French and for a free translating website).

Practice speaking the words when you translate them so that you can try and remember the words and the phrase. Write down the words in a work book so that you can look back at them if you forget.

Translating English to French is easy to do; however always try and memorize the words and practice your pronunciations.
