We have been established since 1987. OEK is a reputable, independent, successful English language school. We have a really good reputation with round 300 students. We are a community school that is having a positive impact on our students’ lives. Our success is in having a great team of people working together and along with a great staff we have a lot of wonderful students.

Our student base comprises of all ages and where students attend for a variety of reasons. We have a variety of classes from mother and toddler lessons to retirees with different language abilities. Our teachers experience a diversity of lessons that also allows them to grow as professionals. Lessons are mainly taught in our school but we also provide lessons to kindergartens, private houses and companies.

OEK is a beautiful school in an older area of Shizuoka so our teachers get to experience more of the Japanese way of life here. A nearby train can take you into the heart of Shizuoka city in 20 minutes.
