Hi, I am looking for a native speaker and certified English teacher that is interested in a 2 year contract in a safe, tax-free and sunny country, the UAE.

Ras-Al-Khaimah is the most Northern Emirate of the United Arab Emirates and is about 60 miles North of Dubai. The commonly used abbreviation is RAK.

The RAK Modern School is looking for a teacher of the English language for pupils from 6 - 16 years old. Classes never exceed 25 pupils, the school is in a brand new and modern - indeed - facility and it is a full time assignment, which boils down to 25 contact hours per week.

Salary will be around US$2.000 per month tax free + medical insurance + yearly round trip by plane to your home country. Start date will be last week of August 2016. However, be prepared for some paperwork to be done before that date.

I think it is a great opportunity for a starter, a re-starter or somebody fed up with the weather:-) Also, you will only teach. Paperwork is limited to the essentials and for everything else (cleaning, handing out books, uniforms etc. etc.) there is somebody else. Final note; the curriculum is already there; it is the 'standard' Oxford method of teaching English to non-native speakers.
