S/ He will be the Key Academic Leader of the PYP Programme in the school and needs to be caring, collaborative, and humane in dealing with children, parents, peers, and community members. S/ He must be able to make daily decisions with an exclusive focus on improving teaching, learning, and student development.

S/ he will be responsible for following:

- Defining school culture (PYP Learner Profile)
- Facilitating inquiry-based curriculum plan
- IB Concepts and principal domains
- Articulation of Programme and developing IB Learner’s profile
- Trans-disciplinary themes
- Professional Development through workshops, conferences, school visits, induction and IB networks
- Supporting Candidacy and Authorization Process
- Supporting Evaluation of School
- Archiving materials
- Policy on assessment
- Record of PYP exhibition
- Curriculum Development
- Authorization and evaluation
- Personnel Administration
- School law and conduct
