I really don't think it would work, and if it did what would happen in the amount of work exceeded the money paid in? What limits would there be? What about costs to and from the location? Who would be eligible? As Paul said, admin nightmare.

In addition to this, the school bosses often have the local police, or court officials in their pockets, so unless you can outbribe them, you are p*ss*ng in the wind, and probably causing problems for yourself in the longer run.

That's not to say legal representation may be totally useless, it could scare the boss bullies into letting a teacher leave if, for example, they are holding onto the teachers' passport.

I think it's a nice idea, but in practice it wouldn't be of much use.
