I'm currently 9 months into a 1 year contract in Indonesia. It's been an okay experience so far. I like the school and the students, I get along well with the other teachers and the staff, and I make a comfortable living - I even bank several hundred dollars a month!
However, I don't enjoy living in Jakarta (though away from Jakarta the rest of Indo can be quite beautiful).
