I was a director at a private bilingual school in Copan a year or two ago. The Honduran teachers were very nice and tried very hard to do a good job.
Most of them had trouble with English, which negated the effects of a bilingual school.

The American teachers who were there were just party animals and couldn't act professionally.

I am not sure where you are going in Honduras. Honduras is beautiful, somewhat dangerous along the Coast and in San Pedro Sula.

The people are lovely and will take you under their wing and do their best for you.

Let me know where you are going and I may be able to help some more.
