Pardon me, perhaps I have been too busy playing XBOX.. am still trying to figure out why on earth you mentioned this:

Thailand is part

Not at all Max, but I do believe that if a person of any nationality that breaks the law in a country, ten the police of that country shoud at least try to apprehend the person.

Many westerners move away from their country in order to escape their own culture. There are good and bad in every country.

Hi,
What's wrong with an independent, sovereign country trying to quash outsiders ideas. Do you believe that all outsiders bring good ideas & truth.

The reason why anyone needs help from any police force is because someone is breaking the law. It shouldn't matter where they come from or which country they are in, what should matter is they are harming innocent people.

If the teachers in Korea are committing an ofence against the students, complain to the police, not a discussion board. What is being discussed ere is the unwillingness of a police force in Thailand to do anything about catching a criminal. Thailand is part of Asia, it holds to the "Asian Principles" that are a collective group of actions and inactions held true by s group of people from a region of the world and used to quash "Western Ideas" from entering the Asian domain.

Kim, if you are so imbittered to westerners who have done you no harm, may I ask you to consider the force of Kharma. Try to have good thoughts, not evil ones, then others may hold you in higher esteem.

Gooooooooooooo Paul!

Hello Patricia,

Want an example of how fast the police force in Korea can put people in their place. Post the right name and address of your associate old hippy. A give you a free demo. If he is not in Korea, hopefully at least I can keep him out.

PS: Wow, just like old times!

How about extending your search and flush out all the mental case teachers in Korea, Asia, A BUNCH. I believe you people speak the same language. Do you worry to have Korean, Asians little innocent children in front of frustrated, bitter, impatient and VERY dangerous creatures. As for Old Hippy: "Darn, lousy Asian police department. They sound worse than South Korea." Paul Adler sounds like a westerner name. Why in this world you need help from any Asian police force to deal with one of your same kind.

Darn, lousy Asian police department. They sound worse than South Korea. We would probably have to bribe them to get any results. Anyway, thanks for all your hard work Patricia. I still haven't given up, and hope someday that we can shut down the people who have scammed us and stolen our money.

Unhelpful Thai Police... Trying to catch Paul Adler

Greetings,
For all of those interested in what has been happening with the attempt to catch Paul Adler (if that is truly his name) of ESL Asia, I did go to the Bangkok police a couple weeks ago. The first place I went to shuffled me to another station which promptly said they could not take the case and sent me and my friend to another station. The third station was the Department of Crime Suppression which told me that they could not take the case unless I had reported it to another police station already. Getting very frustrated I told them I had already reported it to the tourist police a month earlier with no result. This seemed to work a little, and the person in charge there made me a nice 'important' letter to send to the captain of another police station in Bangkok. This last week I have been trying to reach this captain, and it turns out he comes to the station at his own time, leaves at his own time. Sometimes he is there in the morning, sometimes not. And it appears that the only way to catch him is to take a morning off of work and 'hope' that this mysterious captain of the police station is there.

All keep on trying. We have a phone number to call and hope to connect.

End lesson. Unless the crime involves murder, drugs, or people playing poker, don't expect the Thai police to help you. Hence, the reason why people like Paul Adler can still cheat people so openly without being caught.
