You may notice my posts on this board about my very bad experience being ripped off by the scam ESL Asia. However, since then I did get a job in Korea, and I went through ETIK. I have a good apartment, and a good hakwon. My experience may not be everybody's though. But I did want to point out that, unlike ESL Asia or whatever name the scam artists are now going by, ETIK is legitimate and has at least one satisfied customer.
If you're looking for a job in Korea, DON'T use ETIK.
The guy at ETIK will place you at any school without checking it out.
After he places you there, you will never hear from him again no matter how small the problem may be.
Even the schools he deals with hates him.
It puts you in a tough situation because you don't want to work at the school because the conditions are not good at all. Why do you want to stay in a dump of an apartment.
So, you want to leave but the school won't release you because ETIK won't even return their phone call.
I hate ETIK !!!!
